Does the Government need to review their policy for offering financial support to teenage parents ?

Will removing Government financial support for teenage mothers, decrease the number of teenage pregnancies in New Zealand?

Is there a lack of concern in teenage girls to abstain from sexual activities and risking becoming pregnant, because they have an automatic entitlement to Government funding that will provide financial support once the child is born?
